Young Singers Foundation Grants



The Young Singers Foundation offers financial grants to individuals, groups and organizations who sponsor vocal music activities for young people. Grants are awarded twice a year; in June and November.

June 2007 Grant Recipients:

2008 Young Women in Harmony Program & Sweet Expectations Musical Festival - $1500

Four Star Harmony Quartet Program - $1500

Virginia Children’s Chorus Production of Carolers of Winter and Minstrels of Spring Concerts - $3200

Young Women In Harmony “Diva Day” Festival - $3800

Youth Music Festival - $900

2007 Big Sky Youth Harmony Rendezvous - $500

New Mexico Youth Harmony Camp - $1300

Colorado Vocal Arts Ensemble’s High School Residencies - $1850

Greater Cincinnati Harmony Festival - $1500

Seattle pro Musica American Masterpieces Choral Festival - $2570

Application Process

Grants from the Young Singers Foundation are not available to religious groups or political organizations.

Foundation grants are not available to fund quartets to attend the Sweet Adelines International Education Symposium (IES) for the purpose of competing in the Rising Star Quartet Contest; however, funds may be available to groups wishing to attend classes at the seminar without competing.
